  18. buy one from somewhere else.  I can recommend Power Computing - I

  20. an interface from them this morning and my problems have been solved!

  24. Whatever you do, DO NOT buy such an interface from Eyetech!  I can't
  25. emphasize that enough.  I had one of their Mk3 versions, and managed
  26. to
  27. get that exchanged for the latest "high performance" Mk4 version -
  28. they
  29. charged me £18 (upgrade price!) for this, and it doesn't work either!
  30. What's more, they advertise 2 different interfaces, and the
  31. information
  32. given is extremely misleading.  Neither board works on highly
  33. accelerated
  34. Amigas (Blizzard 1260 and PPC boards in particular).  Power
  35. Computing's
  36. version is more up to date, cheaper, and more importantly it works on
  37. accelerated Amigas.  In fact it's even manufactured by the same
  38. company
  39. (DCE in Germany) as the interface that Eyetech sell.  I know for a
  40. fact
  41. that Eyetech know there is a problem with their interfaces, but they
  42. obviously blatantly lied to me on the phone when assuring me that the
  43. Mk4
  44. would work with Blizzard boards!  So, stay away from Eyetech unless
  45. you
  46. like getting ripped off ;)
